Genital Wart Removal
A genital wart removal on the cervix may be done with a cone biopsy and colposcopy.
Ongoing medical management is advised since high-risk for cancer HPV strain is linked. A physician can monitor reoccurrences, administer regular pap smears, provide biopsies of suspicious areas, and perform HPV DNA testing. Immune enhancers or antiviral therapies may also be prescribed.

There is no cure for the viral infection causing genital condyloma. However treatment is important to reduce HPV abnormal cellular advancement. Under a physician’s care Podophyllin, Podophyllotoxin solution, Imiquimod, Interferon, 5-flouracil/epinephnrine-gel, 5-flouracil cream, curettage and scissor or scalpel excisions, LEEP, T cell enhancers and organic antiviral products may be used.
