The other name is of this condition is condiloma acuminatum. This disease affects females more frequently than males with the female-to male ratio being 1.4:1. The highest incidence of GW is found in young adults 15-25 years. Condiloma acuminatum doesn’t become clinically apparent until several months after inoculation with HPV.
